Co-Produdtion — 54-45% Tax Credit Per Investment
If you invest in Spanish productions made in the Canary Islands with MEDIA SOLUTION as a co-producer, you will obtain deduction percentages, which are 50% for the first million Euros and 45% from the second million.
The deduction for co production is based on the total eligible cost of production, including making copies and publicity and promotion expenses. The amount of the 54% tax break is deducted from the corporate income tax, once the production service is completed.
New Tax Rebate Update – Now More Accessible!
Thanks to the recent update to tax law 36.2, international companies can now take advantage of the Canary Islands’ tax rebate with a minimum expenditure of just €200,000 — down from €1 million.
This allows you to commission a variety of services, such as scripting, storyboards, 2D/3D animation, voice-over, music, and more, all while benefiting from this exciting tax incentive.
